Suki by wickedorin Suki by wickedorin
So perhaps there is something to being utterly aware of moving with grace, not of showing off but of simply showing. Suki is humble by nature, elegant and demure--but when she catches an eye, she can't help but invite a long look. She swims with hardly any effort, simply flying through the ocean, catching an eye and leaving a smile.

This poor girl. I had started her body before the craft show in November. And then all of that happened, everything after happened, and I finally got back to her with no idea of what I was going to do. She seems to think it was worth the wait, and so do I. Subtle, but not. Not at all. Mint green and ivory, both tinted with the same subtle shine to make them blend... and boy she took a lot of effort. But as I said, so worthwhile.

I like how you incorporated the wire into the pattern. I never mastered that. Nice colors, too. What kind of beads did you use?

Thank you very much! I'm drawing a blank as to where exactly I got the beads, but they're regular old 10/11 glass seed beads. Mint-lined clear AB and crystal AB I think..? Yeah, it's been a while. And sparkly Swarovski crystals, of course!

Thank you so much! And not to worry, it's an idea that I just can't get away from. *grin* More to come in the... near-ish future.

Thank you! I'm not sure how many sweets there are to be had under the ocean... but I'm willing to bet she'd easily be addicted too.

And double-yay! Really, I cannot thank you enough for that. Hey, who knows what could happen.

Hehe, well, there was always sea salt ice cream *rim shot* :D

Who knows! I am really hoping they give you jewelry a serious consideration. It should be out there for the world to see! :D
